
Horsing Around - A FREE group for children aged 7-12 years who are neurodivergent
Group 1: 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd August
Group 2: 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th Sept
Group 3: 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th Oct
Timing: 14.45-16.15 except 24th Oct which will be 10.30-12.00
Come and meet the Red Horse herd. This is a chance for your neurodivergent child to hang out with our horses in a supportive environment and experience their soothing presence.
There is no pressure, no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ and no previous experience is required – in fact complete beginners are very welcome.
We will be a small group with a maximum of 6 children each week. Parents/carers are welcome to join in or leave your child with us.
There will be opportunities to explore herd dynamics and learn how to groom, lead and make friends with a horse as well as games and snacks around our campfire.
These sessions are offered free of charge, thanks to funding from St James' Place and private donors. Each group comprises 4 consecutive sessions.
