Welcome to The Red Horse Foundation
Centre for Equine Assisted Therapies
&
Natural Horsemanship

WHAT WE DO
A powerful and effective therapeutic approach, facilitated by our mental health team with our gentle herd. Our horses help our clients connect with their emotions, reflect on behaviour patterns and begin their healing journey.
The Red Horse approach values relationship building with our horse partners. This fosters mutual trust and respect and provides a greater level of safety for everything we undertake with horses, including riding.
WHO WE ARE
Red Horse Foundation, offers Equine Assisted Therapies and Natural Horsemanship.
We are a Non-Profit Organisation, supporting people of all walks of life, struggling with mental health issues, in Gloucestershire and beyond.
Established for 10 years, the centre is set in 15 acres of beautiful secluded grounds, which include woodlands and abundant wildlife. We have a herd of 8 horses, stables, a sand arena, a round pen, a yurt for private work and a classroom.
We work with children and adults in conjunction with schools, councils, parents and agencies.
Our team is uniquely made up of mental health professionals with specialisms in various fields of physical, emotional and behavioural problems, who have all trained in Equine Assisted Therapy.
