About the event
Come and meet the Red Horse herd. This is a chance for your autistic child to hang out with our horses in a fun and light-hearted way. There is no pressure, no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ and no previous experience is required – in fact complete beginners are very welcome. We will be a small group with a maximum of 6 children and their parent/carer.
Whilst your child explores herd dynamics and learns how to groom, lead and interact with the horses, you can enjoy refreshments in our yurt with adults who have children like yours. Each week there will be additional opportunities for nature connection, play and craft activities, games and snacks around our campfire.
Please note we will not be riding the horses in these sessions.
Cost: Free – but we ask for a £20 deposit to secure your place. The deposit will be returned on completion of the 4-week programme.
Group 1 dates: 18th, 25th Jun, 2nd and 9th Jul (all 14.30-16.30)
