Madeleine Cardani

Dip PRT, BSC (Hons), PGCE, EAGALA Cert.

Madeleine is co-founder of Red Horse Foundation. She is EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning) trained and a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist.

Her experience includes private practice psychotherapy, counselling and supervision. She has a background in education including nursery and primary education, as well as special education (including autistic pupils).

Madeleine facilitates EAGALA and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) sessions at Red Horse Foundation.

Lisanne Peters

BA (Hons), Dip SEH, EAGALA Cert.

Lisanne is founder and Director of Red Horse Foundation. She is EAGALA trained.

She has completed level 1 and Advanced Trauma Training with the Institute of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

Lisanne is currently studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Development : Psychosynthesis Counselling, at the Psychosynthesis Trust.

She facilitates EAGALA, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Healing with Horses sessions.

Simone Watson


Simone is an integrative counsellor with extensive experience of working with mental health issues, such as addiction issues, eating disorders, personality disorders, social phobia and depression.

Simone always works at the client’s pace.

Fabienne Aguilera

BSc Hons, PG Dip

Fabienne has a Degree in Psychology (Autonomous University of Barcelona) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Equine Assisted Learning and Therapies (University of Vic), as well as 18 years’ background in horse riding, including riding lessons.

She has experience in the field of functional diversity and learning difficulties, especially with children and young adults on the Autistic Spectrum.

Fabienne facilitates Equine Guided Learning sessions and riding lessons at Red Horse Foundation.

Neneh Whiting

Yard Manager

Neneh has many years experience working with horses both in this country and in Canada, Costa Rica and New Zealand.

She also teaches Horsemanship and riding lessons using a mix of both traditional and natural horsemanship methods.

Amanda Pearson

Centre Manager

Amanda’s primary contribution to Red Horse is her planning, organisational and admin skills gleaned from a career in health and education. She keeps our office running smoothly.

Occasionally you will find her taking Billy out for a ride…
